Red Tree Finance came to Kwasi in 2023 seeking a trusted digital marketing expert in the finance industry.

Red Tree Finance was a new company at the time,with limited digital presence operating in regulated and competitive space but they were open to innovation, and trusted Kwasi to apply a full funnel strategy across SEO, paid media, and email automation.

The Challenge

When Red Tree Finance partnered with Kwasi in early 2023, they were facing the classic hurdles of a new financial brand entering an extremely saturated market.

With a brand-new website, little to no organic visibility, and minimal paid advertising history, they had to compete against long-established lenders with significantly larger budgets and more domain authority. Because Red Tree Finance was a new player at the time, with calculated budgets, they wanted to efficiently target high-intent users who were likely to convert into approved loans.

This was a challenge that required a well-considered full-funnel and multi-channel approach and that’s exactly what Kwasi delivered.

The Solution

We approached this challenge by designing a staged, full-funnel strategy by building trust, driving traffic, and converting leads through a mix of organic, paid, and owned media channels.

To reach new audiences and build brand awareness at the top of the funnel, we began with competitor analysis and keyword research to uncover what Australians were searching for at each stage of their financial journey. Using these insights, we created a cohesive blog and content hub strategy focused on answering common finance questions and providing customers with budgeting tips. In parallel, we launched Meta Ads campaigns targeting top-of-funnel audiences with engaging creative that introduced the Red Tree brand to users before they were actively comparing lenders.

At the middle of the funnel, our goal was to nurture user interest and support their decision-making process. We wrote targeted content such as FAQs, loan comparison pages, created location based content hubs to capture regional search traffic and blog posts that addressed common concerns and positioned Red Tree as a reliable lending partner. We also activated Google Search Ads and Microsoft Ads to target users searching for lenders, ensuring Red Tree showed up at key decision points.

To drive conversions at the bottom of the funnel, we created high-converting product and service pages that clearly outlined loan benefits, included trust signals, and followed Your Money or Your Life (YMYL) content standards. We scaled Google Ads campaigns targeting high-intent searches like “emergency loan” and “urgent loans” while implementing Klaviyo email and SMS flows to re-engage users in an automated fashion, recovering abandoned applications while also driving refinance applications a few months into the customer journey.

Kwasi deliberately and carefully built and scaled each layer of the funnel – from brand discovery to final conversion and through this, we transformed Red Tree Finance’s website into a high-performing, scalable lead generation engine.
