About REDARC Electronics

REDARC Electronics is a highly-regarded Australian manufacturer of towing and battery power solution products in the recreational and 4×4 vehicle industry. With a proven suite of products tested for rugged conditions, they saw an opportunity to enter the US market with their product offering.

The Challenge

A small player in a big US market, REDARC’s main challenge was to build awareness through performance marketing in a highly competitive landscape, where there were various barriers to entry including price, distribution, and customer education.

In addition, REDARC wanted effective control over ad spend. Particularly in a new market, it was imperative to demonstrate effective ROAS, so that Kwasi could continue to grow and scale the Google Ad Account.

The Solution

Our initial approach was to run campaigns in specific US states where we could test, experiment and validate our approach, and continue to scale as we demonstrated ROI.

Our strategies were also centred around hitting a ROAS target between 2 and 2.5x in the initial years, investing through lower margins in order to learn more about the market and how campaigns would perform. We have used nearly every available advertising solution that Google has rolled out to increase REDARC’s presence and revenue in the US market, including Dynamic Display Ads, Shopping, Search and most recently Broad Match, PMAX and AI Solutions.

The Results

Over the last four years, we have successfully expanded REDARC’s international presence generating a 462.25% increase in online revenue. Most recently, ROAS stood at 3.89x and generated a 77.85% increase in all-time revenue in the first quarter of 2024 when compared to the previous quarter showcasing our continued ability to strike the balance between ROAS and revenue goals.

Today, as a channel, Google Ads accounts for around 40% of REDARC US’ online revenue, demonstrating that Kwasi has been instrumental in helping them achieve international growth. Most recently, Kwasi has been named a Google Agency Excellence Awards Finalist for International Growth.
